I feel like HOPs have definately gotten worse.. I used to find tons of BMIs easily with them,but now im lucky if i get any! I spent about 10 passes with little to show for it.

Welp, 38 HOPs later and no Pearl. It's like I won the lottery of losing.

Aaaaand that's another 11 HOPs and still no Pearl. This is ridiculous.

I'll just say the highlights.

1st HoP: Mopheus' Arms!
2nd HoP: Pearl!

This is the first time that I've actually gotten anything good from HoPs.

Used 26 passes and 4 inventory hops.
No Pearl.
I'm disappointed.

Opened 5 HoPs and got one ZLB, oNe CZ, one FW and one PoseidonsPack .. In the last one were ear bonnets ... so not bad, but I missed pearl

Howrse has definitely changed since I used to do more than just tend to my EC. I would buy HOPs all the time and there was almost always something worthwhile, whether it be a BMI or at least 5,000 equus, decent tack, aging points, and tons of food (hundreds of apples, mashes, and or carrots). The past few times I've tried it's been nothing but disappointment....you'd be better off spending your passes/diamonds elsewhere in the game

Found Pearl in my first HOP (after using 10 HOPs trying to find Cancer to no avail in the last HOP promotion )

The HOP has ABSOLUTELY gotten worse! I opened approx. 40 HOPs in an attempt to win Pearl and almost all of them were a bit of fodder, some apples, a couple of aging points, a few thousand equus and a piece of low grade tack. In all the HOPs I opened I NEVER won Pearl. If Pearl had been offered for sale I could have bought her for less. This is ridiculous and I won't waste passes again on one of these special games or promos. Stupid. I could have bought six Nyx passes with that many passes and had passes left over. Never again Howrse, the HOP is a TOTAL waste of money!

lost count of how many HOP I've opened probably over 50 now, still no pearl, absolutely gutted very few even had anything good in them. Extremely disapointed

dunno if I even believe you can get pearl in these hops after opening so many hops and not finding her feel as though it must have glitched or something, ridiculous

I bought a Horn Of Plenty with my only pass. I won another HOP, 2,000e, and some oats. I opened that one up, got some more oats, and bell boots. Wow, what a waste.

I'm sorry Howrse, but HOPs are definitely not worth it. It only wastes your passes, therefor encouraging you to try again and buy and waste more passes, especially when you can win a divine. You have a very slim chance getting a divine. All it is trying to do is encourage players to buy more passes and spend them on HOPs. For a non pass buyer like me, this is very disappointing and frustrating, and I'm sure it aggravates pass buyers too, because not only are they wasting their passes, they are wasting money too. Howrse, I think you should really change this.

19 tries with a mix of diamonds, inventory HOP's and a few passes and I got him!!! I'm especially happy to have him because he's my birthstone It makes up a bit for my 35+ tries each with the last two gemstones and failing both times

I'm a non pass buyer (I save up Equus and then buy HOPs from the item exchange), and I also know what it's like not be able to find any Divines or anything that's really worth one pass - believe me, I've been trying to find a Divine in HOPs ever since I started to play this game a bit over 7 years ago and I only just got my first Divine this year.

Sure, I feel that last time (a few years ago) we were able to get more valuable items from HOPs (like Morpheus Arms, Nyx Packs, etc.) whereas nowadays it seems that everyone's getting x100 Fodder, 2x Carrots, x10 Apples, and 500 equus.

I think it IS a way of getting players to spend more money on passes (especially during promotions), but we shouldn't easily forget that Howrse needs money to keep this website up and running, and I'm sure that the people behind the running of this site (who are designing the graphics, thinking up new promotions, and additions to the game) also need to get paid for their years of hard work too.

Plus, there are many more ways to get HOPs nowadays without spending real life money compared to when I first started this game: we can win them through events, buy them/trade items for them through the item exchange, the free passes section, and so on. If I remember right, the only way I was able to get HOPs those years ago (when I was a new player) was by waiting to get a free pass for every 50 days of seniority or by sending a horse over 30 years to Heaven.

And I think that it's great if you even get any BM items, even if it is something that might be considered "useless" nowadays like Medusa's Blood. BM items are way too easy to come by nowadays, which I'm sure is why people don't think they're as valuable anymore.

I hope this post/rant didn't offend anyone, but I just really wanted to get my opinion out there. Let's just hope for luck to be on our side when we open HOPs, and I'm sure we'll be able to get good items sooner or later
