I’m so happy Samurai is back because I have already half of the fragments for him on the Dutch server. Will he be in the Horn of Plenty or Will Hyracoterium be?

Excited for Hyracotherium - he is the last prehistoric I need for the trophy. It'll be the first time I complete a divine series. I suppose he'll be in HOPs and since I'm now running low (thanks employees default smiley (lol)) I may need to spend passes. Nice little perk though.

Oh wow good point! I think this is the first re-release we've had where a good portion of players will have almost half a meter of fragments. With the rip-off that was Saturn I am very interested to see the effect this has on the fragment drops. Will Howrse bump up the price to account for this? Make the jackpot rate even lower?

I'm anticipating Samurai to be in the Titan's Challenge with the Prehistoric in the HOPs but no way to know for sure.

Are there any more news/updates regarding the release of the rest of Zaldia’s tack or is there still no news?

Glad to hear they changed Kawaii's name, is there any chance left that they change the diamond card prize too? Going to be really disappointed if they don't default smiley :(

Im actually fine with Etrian as a prize! I think I opened around 20ish diamond cards and got 2 Etrians,so the chance of getting one is pretty good. Also cool Etrian is a relatively older divine and they are bringing it back for an event default smiley (y)

I know old players may not be thrilled about Etrian but since I missed him by taking a long hiatus, I'm actually really excited to have the promise of a divine without filling a meter and for potentially free! I wish more events did things like that and like the pinatas. I'm excited for the cardsdefault smiley :)

I have just a little over 600 fragments for Samurai so maybe I'll actually go for him. I'm surprised they're already doing a cycle of the Japanese divines considering the set is still ongoing. I'd think they'd drop another pastry divine this weekend.

I think mine is every 60 days? I'm not sure though so others could probably confirm better.
Mind you, Japanese horses really have good drop rates (I think only Percival's better than Samurai for now)

Happy that there will finally be a cheap weekend for me! Luckily I already have both of them, so I can save my passes a little longer! default smiley ^)

I am absolutely horrified by the prices people had spent to get Saturn. And no,it is not all on the player for spending so much money. There is a reason a lot of countries are taking steps against loot-boxes and guess what, both HOP,GF, and Titan`s challenge qualify as loot-box. Even more so now that we have the divine-dust. I have heard the "it`s just luck", "they can stop when they want" and many more excuses from other game-publishers that have this luck-based thing in items (it is like saying to an addict "well just stop (do the thing they are addicted to here) and you won't have a problem, nobody is forcing you". It never ends well. There are studies that show that this kind of loot-boxes has a devastating influence on young people.... younger audiences that are exposed to this kind of mechanics are more prone to gambling if they are exposed to loot-boxes.

Fun fact: Las Vegas has more restrictions than loot box-mechanics in games.Let that sink in. And now think that this game is advertised as a family game.

And it is true that random is never just random. Computers are great at exact calculations, but they don`t do well with randomness. Let's say you breed 2 horses. The chance of getting a colt or a filly is 50/50. The code doesn't say "pick random gender", the code will say "chance of filly: 50%, chance of colt: 50%". Computers understand only mathematics.

The problem is,each divine has its own divine-dust amount. A divine that is known for being attractive to the player (good rewards like Nyx Pack, 5th element mm) usually gives you extremely low numbers of dust (2-14 per TC). Even with event-bumps when you start getting 20-25 dust/TC is extremely low, while divines with uninteresting gifts usually have bigger drop of dust.. And remember, the number is random each time...
Lets say that you usually mostly get 22 divine dust per tc, it would require you to open at least 45-46 TCs in order to fill the meter. 45 TC = that`s 9000 passes.

IF you get 22 dust per TC...get lower than that and you will be spending a lot more.

This is why I prefer divine horses being reserved in reserved sales. At least they have set amount and you know exactly how much you will be spending.

Before divine dust came to "save us", it was possible to get the divine from pass-horses. But with the meters and other annoying changes you can be happy if you manage to fill the meter enough to get one of divines leg.

I had to sell my one and only DA horse to get enough passes to get Saturn... that is how desperate I was. I felt even more inclined to do so since I didn't want to wait years for a chance of it to come back around... I hate how increasingly difficult and expensive it has become to get a divine.

Well, I say 'had' to. In truth I'm struggling financially and can't afford to spend so many passes on this game like I used to, and my other horses weren't getting enough attention in sales. I knew with certainty I could get passes for my DA due to demand and rarity, but I wasn't pleased having to do so.

Please Howrse, do more than just 'listen' to feedback, make the game a little fairer for your loyal players!

Im very excited for this weekend...i already have the prehistoric, and his perk doesnt stack, so no need to go for him. I DO need Sam, and already have 710 of the 1000 fragments needed so i'm gonna go for it! Plus, if i get Sam i will have 8 out of 9 of the Japanese horses! then if i could just get my paws on Fuji...default smiley (m)

It's 100 daily experience, no matter where you get it from. You can either win a competition with Percival or two gallop comps, you'll get to 100 in a second anyway. There is no prediction on timers, only maths. Every time you get to 2600 exp (26 days) you get a Timer. default smiley :)

XPosted over in the "What was in your HOP?" thread:

Update (since I wanted the little pig horse for a full prehistoric set):

Total HOPs to get Hyra: 6 (all free! YAY!)
Fragment range observed: 45-83
Implied average: 64
Implied cost to fill meter: 1700 passes

...That said, it seems like the likelihood to hit the jackpot is set pretty high.

This is what I got, fragment-wise, what I spent, and what BMI I got in those HOPs.

45 -- Objective HOP (HOP)
78 -- Prize HOP (Bonus Pack)
76 -- Xanthos HOP (nothing of interest)
83 -- Xanthos HOP (nothing of interest)
80 -- Xanthos HOP (Chronos Timer)
675 -- Xanthos HOP (nothing of interest)

...Does anyone else have any records on their fragment spread to get a better idea on the overall implied price Hyra is set at?
