So basically Howrse took away the one perpose the raindeer divines had. Now they cannot even be used into any sleigh event. They are now totally meaningless in existance. Poor beasts.

At least they're only useless 90% of the year. Unlike some that are useless 100% or are only useful for breeding 1 time.

, 4 if you count Rudolph. We still need Dasher, Dancer and Vixen. I'll be happy if we can finish them this year, but if that means another sleigh event 3 months after this one, I'll be more happy to wait a bit longerdefault smiley (lol)

Considering Rudolph was an American creation of Montgomery Ward and I THINK is still under copyright—created in 1939, so I don't think he's yet in the public domain—I highly doubt a French game would bother including him.

Ironically, it's the most popular one from where I'm from.
We don't bother with the reindeers, honestly, BUT we all had to sing "Rudolph the red nose reindeer" at school. default smiley (lol)

Interesting! I'm endlessly fascinated by how marketing artifacts (here: the Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer" song) work themselves into cultures and get treated as "traditional." American Christmas celebrations are littered with this.

Cookie looks like a standard chocolate cookie with white chocolate chips, but there's something off about Koekje's "chips" colours. They're too blue/purple tinged to be be chocolate. I was thinking they could be some sort of fruit, but they're too plump and the colour doesn't match any fruit I can think of.

I actually have a nail polish in that exact colour and sheen, so the thought of a food item with what looks like nail polish chunks in it is very gross default smiley :s

tutorial. Some of this may be the same but this is the basic idea: When you pick your first horse it takes you to that version of Gaia, Emma's horse. You learn how to care for her. Emma shows you what specialty the horse will do best at and what competition to enter. Then the horse gives birth and you get two foals (one male, one female) that are the ones you first picked out. After that Emma shows you the Auctions. She picked out 4 horses for you to choose from. They are all 500 equus and the auction is staged for you to win it. Then Emma gives the horse BMI and shows you the new beginner objectives.

Instead of daily objectives, you get 3 apprentice objectives a day, which are easier. I don't know exactly when you stop getting them--at 100 completed perhaps? From what I understand, every 25 objectives you complete you can choose to get access to a feature or you could get passes. Though I think even if your seniority is 20 days you can still open an EC if you haven't done 25 objectives yet or why else would passes be an option? The prizes for the objectives are 500 equus, 3 AP, and 10 carrots. I'm not sure if they will change or not. My objectives today were "Use 1 Aging Point", "Register a horse in an equestrian center", and "Play for 3 hours with a foal at once". These will be much better for newer accounts because most of them don't have the resources to cover female donkeys or to win rosettes.

I'm calling her a Huckleberry cookie, since the theme of the promo is western (where I live) and Huckleberries are very common around here, rather native to this area and not found anywhere else. They turn things purple, much like the color of Koekje.

The robot idea helps but honestly it just looks like a real nasty disease. The other one is fine, and cute. But I don't know about pinky... Might have to entirely pass on seeing that everyday.

Which isn't to discredit the artist at all.. because, like I said, the other one looks cute. It's just the color combination is not working for me on pinky.

And I call it pinky 'cause I don't feel like using spoiler banners.

Even the perk-less divines are decent moneymakers now that we always have divine comps to enter. I make 30k-50k a day just from divine comp winnings. Even Jade, with his negative skills, is capable of winning a few hundred equus a day. On your absolute luckiest day, a reindeer can give you a profit of 80e and an AP - if you board them in your own 60e mission EC and Pixiu's perk activates that day.
If I had to choose between the two, personally I'd rather have a perk-less divine that I can at least enter into comps for money than a reindeer that spends 3-4 weeks being used as a promo gimmick and the rest of the year unable to do anything but one mission a day. We don't even have a trophy for themdefault smiley (lol)

It's worse than that. Original Blitzen has some skills, but the deer from last year's promo have no skills at all. That means if they are in your own EC, you don't get any resources gathered when they do missions. You get their mission earnings and possibly an aging point and that's it. I guess they are also box fillers. (And personally I like them, lol)

However, if the Christmas promo.. (speculating...)

goes back to being the one that original Blitzen came from (tree decorating), or something new, then there's a chance it will at least allow them to gain some skills.

I like my pass givers more and I don't have time to enter all my divines into comps. Barely have time to BLUP 1 horse.

I think you’ve misunderstood how the prizes work

You don’t get to choose a feature or passes, instead it’s you can pay that amount of passes to unlock the feature early or you can complete that number of objectives, so seniority doesn’t come into it anymore.

I agree, it looks diseased. Covered in tumours default smiley :( It is human nature to be repulsed by something that looks sick or diseased and that horse is definitely making me feel a little nauseous.

Anyone know if/when there will be a VIP subscription discount offered? Not expecting that it's a known thing, but if it is, I'd like to know about it.

It's not a known thing, but last year they had one for Black Friday, if that helps.

To answer your second question, I got the GA on a horse I purchased from auctions - yes, you get a third horse, but bought w/ 500e from auctions (rigged so you can win...). The tutorial told me to put the GA on that horse.
