Click to display I think you should know first, but you're VIP and you have acces to preprod server, but... as I saw on TotalCretin video there are no VIP perks from those horses. They just... give you sugar? I don't know... Click to display I don't actually have access to Prepod, I missed out. And I know about the sugar perks, but I was wondering if there was VIP perks that weren't showed on the special horses page in the video. I didn't think VIP perks showed on the pages, but I was just going through the rainbow divines pages, and it seems I was wrong about that.

I've seen a lot of people talking about tests, so I just wanted to take a quick moment to share my personal experience. A while ago, Howrse sent out a survey through DMs that players could fill out, giving them the potential to be chosen as testers.
I do not know what methods they used when selecting players, but I was selected for tests May of 2017. There does not seem to have been another survey sent out since this time. It's my understanding that us who have been selected get access to preprod first, and then after a time VIPs are given the option to test the features as well. Although it was stated that the recent DM wasn't a mistake...I do have my suspicions. I have just received an invite to the test server (via the banner on the homepage), and am under the impression that, unless you are also a tester, you will not. Sorry guys! I was finally able to log into the preprod but it seems a little unstable...as soon as I can take some screenshots I'll post them here!

Click to display what does it mean by the same region of pastry i couldn't modify the quote above |

Click to display Thank you to everyone posting the information and screenshots The divines have the potential to be very pretty and I would have been very tempted to put the effort into getting them.. except they have been designed by Frankenstein.. They have taken a 14hh dainty mare rear end and stuck it together with the front end of a 16hh chunky stallion. I will never be able to look at them without wondering how the graphic was passed through. Another couple of hours work balancing out the midriff and back end could have made all the difference. As it stands they look like sway backed old cut and shuts.

Click to display I'm really intrigued by the new divines. The perk is interesting. I don't mean the finding sugar bit (though I have Huanglong, so I can vouch even a small bit of extra energy can make a difference sometimes). But the breeding possibilities... So... their skills can be increased with diamonds, which presumably means they'll then pass them on to the foals. Can one person's male be put up for other people's females to use? If so, someone with a lot of diamonds available could end up with a very useful stud. Presumably those skills could also be shaped towards what was wanted from the foals? And the female's level of 'sugar pearls' influences the inborn skills of the foal. I wonder if it's possible to end up with a foal with more inborn than gp? Did anyone note down what breeds this pair can produce? It was in the video somewhere... I remember Curly but I think there were another two.

Here is the information, prizes, etc.
Click to display Prizes+Divine Click to display The new divines Prizes Info for the new French Trotter breed. I'll have to look to see if it mentions what breed will be given for the servers that have the French Trotter already

Click to display I think it's a bit mean to blame another player (Frankenstein posted higher up this thread....) Seriously, it would have been nice to make some slight difference between the mare and the stallion, other than colour. And please, not pink and blue for every pair!

Thanks Legacy Ann, you cross posted some info I asked for!

Click to display Personally, I think 24 months is wayyyy too much, especially for a normal breed of horse. I wish that there could be a third divine you could give birth too, like a foal called Cakepop or something but that’s a little far fetched haha |
Haha! Well spotted RowanGreen.
Sorry Frankenstein, I did not mean to cast aspersions on your artistic skills
|
Not gonna lie I was super confused as to why you thought I designed them, Strawbz
Proportions are something that tend to be off with Howrse, if you ask me. I actually kind of like the build on the new divines, but looking at some of the regular horse graphics on the game some look like they have genetic issues. *shrugs*

Click to display What exactly are the perks for the new divines? Helping your horses find more sugar... what? |
Click to display What exactly are the perks for the new divines? Helping your horses find more sugar... what? Click to display
The Female divine's (Fairycake) description is that "She will give sugar pearls every day when she wakes up. The more the sugar pearl meter is full when Fairy cake is covered, the more the foal will have high innate skills."
The more sugar she has at the time of the cover, the higher the IBS of the foal she gives birth too.
I think I'll ask for confirmation that it's just the mare that finds the sugar, because only she has the quote above on her page. Having the male helps to find more sugar, as that is stated on the male's page, but it doesn't mention that he has a meter as well.

Click to display Does anyone know if French Trotters will beat Peruvian Pasos in Trot Prix? I'm not good with numbers, but for those who are, hopefully this will help Click to display I compared the skill set of the French trotter at foundation level to that of the Paso at foundation level(on preprod, so the skills are a bit lower than the live server because the data is from a previous date), it looks like the Paso has the higher trot with 808.61 vs the 729.97 of the Trotter. But the Trotter has higher dressage, with 826.7 vs the Paso's 685.57. Speed is fairly close, but the Paso wins out with 999 to the Trotter's 988. However, when I added up the overall genetics of each, the Paso's foundie GP was 4037, and the Trotter 4033. The Trotter's individual genetics would be a tad different if the overall GP matched the Paso's. It may be easier to compare like this: Paso: Speed- 809.01 Dressage- 685.89 Trot-999.96 Trotter: Speed- 729.973 Dressage- 826.765 Trot- 988.085

I'm not good with numbers, but for those who are, hopefully this will help Thank you for taking the time to gather these numbers for me, I really appreciate it. Click to display It'll be interesting to see in the live version if the Trotter will be able to beat Pasos. If I get a chance to look into it more on preprod I will.

Click to display My feeling would be that with the way GP's increase all the time it's unlikely that the trotters would catch up with the pasos? Unless anyone knows better?

Click to display My feeling would be that with the way GP's increase all the time it's unlikely that the trotters would catch up with the pasos? Unless anyone knows better? Click to display the Trotter has a chance of giving Pasos a run for their money in the Prix. The Kerry Bogs have only been out since the Spring, and they're already up to 11,240, which is higher than the Appaloosas which were one of the original breeds. It'll just take time to get the GP up before the breed will be able to really compete.

Click to display We actually have French Trotters on polish server already and they are owning GrandPrix in trot. Although we don't have Peruvian Pasos, so I can assume that we will get those or just nothing new. |
