Unless they change the formatting and/or prices, you'll have to shoot for saving at least 1000 passes for one of the profitable divines.

largely avoid the BF sales. It is super frustrating and stressful for me because they go so quick, and i feel like you'd have to sit there constantly refreshing, hoping to catch something, and not enough time to decide who you want/need more before attempting to be fast enough to purchase. it would bore me to death, and then when it finally happened, i would miss out and only end up with a lot of disappointment. I get enough of that with coat release, and that usually breaks me financially by itself. I cannot handle both at the same time. For me, it is not worth it. But good luck for those of you that are trying!

If the divine selection is anything like the last two years (which I personally found quite poor compared to the first Black Friday sale), there are only a couple I will go after anyway.

Oh no, Gold is a purchase pack I was hoping he would be in the Christmas event instead lol. BF will be stressful though it seems, but not thrilled about the Christmas divines, so I guess BF it is... maybe I'll get luck and get something good

I am personally going to try and avoid the Black Friday topic this year, the way those of us that did well were treated didn't and still doesn't sit well with me, especially when many of us offered tips on how to do better in future Black Friday events. Believe me when I say this, those of us giving tips aren't trying to come across as "rubbing it in", we genuinely want to help you do better and get something out of future versions.

Actually, with coat release and possible Howrse Black Friday on the same day ths year, this is the closest I'll ever come to real Black Friday shopping. I hate shopping on a good day, so I wouldn't step foot inside a store on Black Friday even if someone gave me my holy grail RC and 10 Jades

I think having a fast internet connection is key. I "practiced" before a divine came up that I wanted. Just waiting for the countdown to happen, refreshing and seeing when I would have to refresh based on my internet speed, and moving my mouse to where the purchase button is (without clicking). That way I had the timing and movement down fairly well for when a divine I did want came through

The best tip, auction wise, is to save, as divines almost always go in the millions.

Or people aren't going for them as they are busy watching auctions and flash sales.

Another thing you can do is to watch what a divine is going for in the auctions before attempting to win a sale of it, as while the auctions will be ranged for the same horse, watching a few of the same divine will probably give you a rough idea on how highly they are valued and help you decide if you can get it with what you have on hand/prepared to pay.

2020's topic was so nice and supportive, everyone stayed up together till like 4 am, it was wonderful! Then 2021 it was just new players and some older players complaining about how much it benefited people with more money. Almost like we magically got it out of thin air and didn't save up all year

I noticed it as well. Like, the 60+ million I have on hand was gathered over the last 3-4 months through exchanges, horse sales, entering comps, etc, none of it was bought through the pass to equus option that Howrse offers. The rest (30ish million) was gotten through crafting daily since the last Black Friday we had.

My personal opinion is that, if someone doesn't make the effort to save, they should not expect the same advantages as someone that has. If anything, expecting to have the same advantages is not fair to those of us that have saved up.

I really hope that we can have that same energy as 2020 this time, it was a lot more fun when we all got to share our successes and celebrate with each other, making for a really nice atmosphere.

Next event is the pre-christmas event. It's the christmas mapping event where you go from one square to another. It's nothing special but right after that is the main christmas event. There is also an advent calendar with divines offered. Few pages back.
