Testers were sent a survey this morning to help choose Greek God mythical creatures for a wandering horse event.

Now, how they possibly work out a Centaur or Harpy is beyond me XD.

I was, however, very excited to see this message! I was once grounded as a kid and decided to pick one of the informative encyclopedia type books we had to read on Greek Mythology. It was in that book that I read about the Minotaur and my love of bloodthirsty creatures began lol. So, I have super high hopes to see a Minotaur and Werewolf and be the happiest camper in the world!

I can't wait. I think it's because it's a promo that's been around ages that I really like, as opposed to some of these fairly new ones (obviously the Great Challenge has been around ages, never really been a massive fan personally - and this time around I like it even less because of the removal of the luck aspect). One I cannot wait for is the next cards promo, but sadly doesn't seem like we'll see one for a little while as it wasn't on the Tuesday Spoilday (to my knowledge).

May I ask if someone could proofread this and verify the info on it please?

Info Sheet:

The new divine:
Click to display
Profile:
Name: Kigurumi
Series: Japanese divine
Item: Festive chest (costs 90p)/lottery draw prize
Perk: drops a TC every 65-70 ageings (2 months - 2 months and 1 week)
Other drops (in order from most common to rarest):
-Equus in amounts (50, 100, 200)
-Apple seeds in amounts (15, 20, 30, 35, 40, 45)
-assortment of 2** tack (most common colours are pink and green. However, all the other colours are also available as prizes)
-Oats in amounts (50, 100, 150)
-Flax in amounts (10, 15)
-APs in amounts (5, 10)
-1× TC
*there may be additional amounts of the above drops available, with the exception of 1× TC*

Cost:
No. Festive chests needed for 1× cycle: 21
Price for 1 full cycle: 1890 passes

Without the multiplier/with 1× multiplier:
Number of fragments per chest cycle: 118 fragments
No. cycles needed to fill the meter: 8 full cycles + 3 chests min. to 19 chests max
Cost to fill the meter: 15390p min-16830p max (171-187 chests)

With the 4× multiplier:
Number of fragments per chest cycle: 472 fragments
No. cycles needed to fill the meter: 2 full cycles + 1 chest min to 15 chests max
Cost to fill the meter: 3870p min-5130p max (43-57 chests)

Notes:
-Kigurumi gave me a TC 22 ageings after I got him. However, it's no guarantee that he'd do the same for you. I only added this to show that his drop rate may have extreme values (times where he drops an item really quickly and times when he takes really long to drop an item/outlying values that appear far away from the line of best fit).

-Each prize that you win from the festive chest gets removed after you win it to ensure that you win all the prizes from the chest. The process then restarts after you win the last prize available and the prizes restock in the chest.

Great challenge/festivities
Click to display
The great challenge

-You can complete the same task several times over until you get to 100 horseshoes. You don't need to dehorn your precious unis or dewing your peggys.

- You will not get the extra horseshoes if you collect more than 100 horseshoes in one day (eg by dewinging a peggy ×2 and dehorn a uni you should get (2×35 horseshoes + 50 horseshoes = 120 horseshoes, but you only get 100 horseshoes). You get capped at 100 horseshoes per day so you lose the extra horseshoes if you collect more than 100 horseshoes.

-Completing the extra objective will get you lottery tickets. This is very helpful for the first draw of the lottery itself, so do as many of the extra objectives as you can. However, these objectives are chosen randomly so you may be asked to dehorn a uni etc, which is probably something that you don't want to do. For these, you could buy a horse from the sales and dehorn/dewing/etc that horse instead of your own horses. Also remember that nobody is forcing you to complete the objective, so if you don't want to do it then just don't do it. I mean, these are brutal objectives to start with..

-You can gain fragment multipliers by completing your objectives/filling the horseshoe meter. The multipliers are prizes, where the highest achievable multiplier is 4× more fragments. Also, the community objectives just unlock more lottery draws per day so if you don't do your great challenge objectives then don't expect to get a fragment multiplier.

The festivities (AKA the Lottery):
Click to display
How to get tickets:

-The first thing that you want to do here is make sure that you've got at least 5 friends who are active players. Why? Because you are allowed to send 5 requests for lottery tickets to your friends so your friends can give you extra tickets. Each request costs 200eq. In a similar fashion, your friends can request lottery tickets and you can send them tickets. You can do this every lottery draw.

-You can buy lottery tickets, but every time you buy a ticket, price of the ticket will increase starting from 200eq. The best thing to here would be to buy tickets in low amounts to avoid taking a massive hit to your equus reserve. Also, the price of the tickets reset after every draw, so you can buy another ticket for 200eq again after each draw. Hence why I would recommend buying the tickets in small amounts each draw to avoid going broke.

-You can win small amounts of tickets from the lottery draws too.

-You can find lottery ticket UFOs when you refresh your page. I found a maximum of 2 tickets in one draw.

-You can win 2 × 1 ticket when your horses place first in a competition. You get 1 ticket per win.

-You can win a ticket every time you purchase a BMI with passes. Although, the number of tickets that you get doesn't change according to the BMI that you purchased. You only get 1 ticket per BMI, whether it's a nyx pack or an H. blanket, so I would recommend buying H. blankets if you want to go that route. Also, you can do this unlimited times and keep getting tickets every time you buy a BMI with passes.

Misc.
-All your tickets that you have at the time that a lottery draw takes place get used up in that draw. This means that lottery tickets don't carry over from draw to draw, unless you win extra lottery tickets from the previous draw. (And not having tickets during a draw/not participating in the draw means that you have less chances to win the divine.)

-You may need to wake up at ungodly hours if you want to participate in every draw. This promo takes a lot of effort/maintenance if you want to participate in all the draws. Especially if you have unlocked the community objective to get 4 draws per day (1 draw every 6 hours).

-The only other way to win the divine is to fill his fragment meter by buying the festive chest. There isn't much of a luck aspect for winning the divine in this promo, besides for the luck needed to get him in the lottery draw itself.

-Small amounts of fragments (10×; 20×; 30×) are prizes in the draws.

-It is best to save all your clovers until after the last draw takes place because having more clovers allows you to buy items/BMIs of a higher shop/BM value. The clover shop will remain open for a while afterwards so that you can make your purchases.

-It is possible to win BMIs from the lottery draws, however, it is highly unlikely to be good BMIs when it happens. The best BMI that I got from the draw was a P. Stroke.

-Clovers can be won from tickets in the amounts: (5×; 10×; 15×; 20×; 25×; and 30×). Or at least those are the amounts that I won. There may be additional amounts that can be won, however, it probably won't be much more than the above amounts.

If you have any extra info to add, please post it in my EC forum. I'll credit you at the end of the sheet unless you state otherwise/want to remain anonymous, in which case I will credit you as an anonymous player.

As far as I know, Howrse hasn't released any wanderer's spirit item spoilers so there's no information on the item's next release as of yet. However, we do know that

there will be a wandering horse promo in the far future. So there will probably be a wanderer's spirit item sale at some point during/after the promo. However, the item could also make an appearance over a weekend sometime before the promo.

When you first get a divine usually their progress bar towards their prize is already half completed. Which means that you get their FIRST prize sooner than you normally would. The fact that you got the first prize after 22 ageings doesn't influence his drop rate, as you should calculate that starting from the time of his first drop and not from the time when you got him. So Kigurumi's drop rate is pretty regularly set at 2 months and 1 week.

I got up to 60 fragments at once, but the average is 5-10 fragments/none at all

Wait, so divines with no visible progress bar have a progress bar too? So for example, Samurai has a progress bar for how often he drops his main item? So basically they're like the Maori divines where you have to fill their bar by doing something with them every day (in this case it would be letting them age) and when their bar is full you will get their drop. Except that their bar is invisible. I wasn't aware of that. I'm going to remove that first drop from the sheet. Thank you for telling me about this default smiley :)

Also, I just realised that I didn't take into account that you can win clovers to use to buy fragments from the shop. The cost that I have is just the cost of getting the divine assuming that your fragment meter is completely empty and that you didn't get any extra fragments from anywhere else along the way.

May I add your post as it is to the sheet? I don't want to change anything on there- I'm pretty sure that I'll just end up messing it up if I try. Thank you for helping me!!

I looked back, and my second Sekhmet dropped the Scales only a week or two after I got her. The Egyptians don't have a meter.. I want to think the Celtics make their first prediction pretty quickly too. The first GA Borvo gave me was the quickest he's ever dropped it.

It'll likely be during the next update, which is usually the first week of the month. July in this case. Could be sooner.

We didn't get any confirmation on whether we'll be able to turn the notifications off when it goes live. Due to the quick turnaround from preprod to the live version, we sometimes don't see changes until another few weeks later (like with the recent Golden Apple page feedback). We'll have to wait and see.

My Sekhmet as well. Also when you win the Maori divines they come with their Tiki half full so the drop pretty soon (relatively) after you obtain them. Then there is a larger gap for the next one.

That's my personal interpretation of it. If they were TRULY random then we wouldn't be talking about drop rates, because there would be times where we'd wait months for a drop and times where we get their drop twice in the same week. It would be much more chaotic than this. Instead, most divine drops are pretty regular and they're almost never more than a few days off. So yes, I see them as having an invisible progress bar.

I'd suggest leaving the math out, the whole post would just confuse a lot of players. You could leave the link to the spoiler topic page for whoever is interested in the why behind my reasoning.
Click to display
But it should suffice simply saying:
With the x4 multiplier the first divine should cost you between 2 430 passes + 630 clovers and 2 970 passes + 630 clovers
Take note that you should buy at least 5 lottery tickets per draw (+friends+comps+UFO) for the estimate to be more or less accurate. There's always a luck factor to it though, so these numbers could be both higher or lower.
If you want a second Kigurumi prepare to pay another 4 140+ passes for it.

I bumped up the higher end of the price estimate and took out the lower end because I used 20-21 lottery tickets/draw on preprod. It's not really realistic to get more than 14-15 tickets/draw on the live version so that will most likely influence the amount of fragments you'll be able to win.

The MOST you could pay for your first Kigurumi (still with the 4x multiplier) is 3 780 passes + 30 clovers.

This is if you don't win ANY fragments during the lottery (unlikely unless you don't participate or only participate with very few tickets I guess... or if you're impatient and don't wait until the end of the lottery to get your divine!) and if you don't want to use your clovers for divine fragments but want to buy something else with them.

It's unlikely you'll win more than 900 clovers during the lottery, so if you use them on fragments you won't really be able to buy yourself any of the nicer BMIs. Maybe just one.

You should include a tip for players that go after the divine: don't open the festive chest until festivities begin. That way you get at least 21+ free tickets during the lottery!
You'll need to spin the chest AT LEAST 21 times (one full cycle), so you can buy those whenever you want.
But after that wait until before the last draw to spin the chest more times and get the rest of the missing fragments. That way:
- you get more free tickets if you do it before the last draw
- there are less chances to remain with leftover fragments since by then you'll know exactly how many fragments you're missing

I noticed it's still the max, I was more curious if it's been discussed at all after the extreme uproar and I know a lot of players quit after the change, so there looks to be incentive to change the max.

Statistically, for any player that leaves another 10 come in. There is no incentive to change the max, or they would have done so with the MONTHS of complaining we did on the other servers, who got told: "That's the way it is buddy, we're sorry".

I use the notebook on each divine's page (on au server, don't have it here!) to record their age each time they get an item (and what item for celtics). they do tend to give them within a particular interval, although there's a bit more of a margin of difference for those without a visible bar - usually not more than 6 - 8 ageings... (usually!)
The first item also does usually come sooner than the rest.
