Click to display Sorry, but if someone started a petition for the April Fools horse I might just start one against. I don't like seeing animals that are deformed, especially when humans have deliberately bred them to be deformed. Fish like those often have damaged eyes and can hardly swim. How would you react to a human with oversized eyes and limbs like that?

Click to display I really don't think it's that serious and that is coming from someone who loves animals more than actual people... It's not a reality at all, it's literally a horse-fish. They're not sending the money they earn from players buying this & sending it over to the breeders of these fish, so I honestly do not see a problem with this. I respect your opinion though.

They might not support it directly but they're normalizing it. Like when a celebrity buys a pug and many of their fans end up doing the same without informing themselves first on how messed up that breed became because of us. So it's just as bad in my opinion, I agree with RowanGreen.

Well, petitions never work anyway so it's a mute point.
 Still, it would be nice to be able to enjoy this pixel creation.It would be like the Nightmare wandering horses, I suspect. Some people think they're awful and can't stand them. Others love them. Personally the fish chimera looks to me to be a hybrid of a Black Moor goldfish, which is considered a hardy beginner pet fish to have. Not the bubble-eye fish, which have those big fluid sacs that can pop.

Question: around when will the next expert diplomas be released? I recall someone saying something about a schedule? March, June, September and December, if their regular schedule hasn't changed this year. So far it hasn't, but you never know

How is that *drawing* any different than the other non-realistic drawings on this game? I.e. Chimeras, Dragons, many GA coats, etc.

What are the expert diplomas? Expert diplomas are diplomas that allow EC employees' perks to double. So for example, a regular instructor's perk is to allow for only the skills of the top 4 horses in an EC to count towards the horses skill level prestige, whereas an expert instructor allows for only the top 2 horses to count (double the bonus/perk). It's the stuff that was in last weekend's HoP release along with employee contracts.

How is that *drawing* any different than the other non-realistic drawings on this game? I'm going to add my argument to this.. It's not about the drawing- it's about what it's normalizing/encouraging. This drawing is normalizing fish to have bulgy eyes, which is unnatural. Fish naturally have eyes that stay in their head, but because humans have bred them to a point where their eyes are bulging from their heads, they experience extra health issues e.g their eyes are more likely to ulcerate. And for what reason? Appearance?? So when child players see it they may think that it's cool and they may want to buy a fish like that (aka support the reproduction of them). Hence, this drawing is normalizing these fish and indirectly encouraging humans to breed more fish in a way that they are so deformed that they have added unnecessary health issues. The other drawings may be deformed, but they are not drawings of creatures who have been intentionally bred to be deformed and now have added health issues because of us. The other drawings do not normalize the reproduction of these creatures. That's the difference.

I hope that's a new one that's coming up: it seems too complex a picture to just be for the background? On the Iris coat: Click to display It was in HOPs on preprod, but I think it was just so we could get them easily for testing. Before we'd been ageing the divine to get them (you can age divines a lot of the time on preprod) @ Gaited Splendour, ShadowKokufu said it! I'd add though that personally in my brain 'monsters' are what they are, and are generally happy as they are. Not entirely logical maybe, but since they are't real there's no harm in me believing that. On the other hand I have real experience of animals that have had their shape changed by breeding and the problems it often causes. (And how oblivious their genuinely lovely, loving owners can be) Slightly aside too, the chimeras are all wild animal hybrids. The fish is a domestic animal, so doesn't fit in that way.

You don't need to reapply. These images come from people just going bingo on the image links and find them as soon as they're uploaded.

The Japanese have a whole cultural thing about foxes (kitsune), which I have not researched enough to talk in detail about. But I do know that the foxes can have up to 9 tails. In the pic above, I can only see 8 foxes. So maybe there's a a new companion reward as the 9 tailed fox? I mean, this whole fox merging thing sounds very fitting to add tails to the foxes and I'm guessing that the last one will be achieved by merging the two 8 tailed ones to get a 9 tailed fox.
