I love how the head dress matches Hella from the Thor Ragnarok film It reminds me of the Magic Hat coat that looks like Maleficent.

Have too agree with maryeirin.This Chimera does not blend together as well as the rest of the collection. It seriously looks like they just cut the front off of a gorilla and stuck it to the back end of a horse I don't care though. I'm still going to get it.

On this one the lighter, less hairy back end does suggest a male silverback gorilla.
(Though I suspect they will be both male and female, as with the male looking Lion!).
I think the problem is more that it looks like the front end is trying to walk off without the back.

I think part of the problem is that they haven't balanced the weight of the limbs. I'd expect a gorilla-horse to have heavier hindlegs to match its arms and be built more like a light draught breed (or the Polar Bear, which has slightly heavier back legs than, for example, the Fox; to compare it to other Chimeras). The lack of texture on the horse end doesn't help, either. Silverbacks have less/shorter hair on their backs but it is still enough to create a noticeable texture, whereas this has an abrupt "no hair beyond this point" line (which works for the chest/abdomen but not so much for the back). The other Chimera keep the texture of the animal fairly consistent or have a more gradual transition from heavy fur to smoother horse hindquarters (Wolf and Polar Bear). The abruptness of the change here makes it look like someone just stuck the back of a horse and the front of a gorilla together, compared to the more hybrid look the other Chimeras have.

Do you know what her perk is yet? Not that it really matters because I'll probably end up getting her for her looks alone but I do like the Nordic's predictable drop rate, so it would be nice if she gave me something I'll use

I've never gotten to participate in a Wandering Horse Event as I haven't been here long enough, so I have no idea how it works, BUT I'm literally the most excited I've been in a while. Those coats are amazing! Looking forward to that new Nordic as well, I loove divines with predictable drop rates.

Nope. Nopey de nope nope. I don't like the scary wandering horses (some of them are quite horrific! ) And I generally don't celebrate Halloween.

"All Wanderers can be won for free" well if you have a massive amount of luck and get many UFOs of Evil Essence maybe but otherwise just for those it's going to be quite heavy in pass

I do not think it will be too hard, as everyone who plays often should be able to reach the special coat for free.
I would say the promo will be costlier on the other side - Titans challenges to get the divine

Someone post what the book of monsters page is please. I'm guessing it gives the coats of the wandering horses? This Divine is a must have for me if that's the case, I love these coats!

Book of Monsters is an item we've had for a few years now. The info page is here. The item that gives the Wandering Horse coats is called Wanderer's Spirit. I don't have a Spirit in stock on the test server to check, but usually the new Wanderer set is not available until after the event. I'd have to ask to see

So it doesn't give the event coats, though I think the coats it gives are quite cool.

Wanderer coats tend to be given occasionally as a special offer, so hopefully you'll be able to get them eventually. You also get small pictures of them on your presentation/home page which stay after the event

I am absolutely in love with the Wanderers this time around. Personally I'm not usually wowed by any of the artwork in the promos (there have been some exceptions), but these Wanderers are exceptionally creepy and I adore them.

Great job on the parts of the artists.

YESSSS!!! I *love* the Wandering Horses, it's my favourite event - and all the Wanderers this time (and Hela, too!) are GORGEOUS

Dang it, I want this to be the next promo

Though those coats are interesting, I really love the wanderer coats in this promotion ): I'd love a way to collect them on my own horses, but alas. The Divine is still stunningly beautiful though, so I'll make sure to grab her. If the item applied the wanderer coats I would have went for at least 2.

Howrse has outdone themselves with the new Wandering Horses. I'm in AWE of how much detail is in the artwork. Bloody Mary and the Haunted Doll are my absolute favorites. Well done!

No doubt that they will come available in the wonder's spirit sometime after the event so you would be able to collect the coats then.

You will be able to buy the coat for your horses. They have created a new special Wanderer coat (the spidery one, forgot it's name) so they are definitely going to offer the others in the Wanderer Spirit, no worries there. If I remember correctly it cost 100 pass for one Wanderer Spirit and you have different collections (classic, historic, butterfly... You can see them in the sales and trophees) so usually when there is a new Wanderer event they bring back the Wanderer Spirit with the old colection and the possibility to get the new coats

1) I have noticed at the bottom of the pages there's a red banner saying that points for actions may be different when it goes live. The fact that they've done that makes me think that some WILL be different.

2) They are a lot creepier when animated!

Will I be able to apply each coat to a horse and choose which one during the event? Just like when visited by a wandering horse? Or will I have to buy Wander's Spirit and get a random coat? And is it going to be a random one of this series or random of all coats? I really would prefer to collect them on my own Shires rather than buy them. But I'm not going to pay for a chance to maybe get one of the coats and maybe something else :/
