Click to display Maybe it does have to do with the fight. I find it odd because we usually know the second promo coming up about a week before the current promo ends. Maybe the team is on vacation

Click to display preprod will open for our server tomorrow. If it doesn't we won't have as much time to test. But it may also depend on when the Great Challenge starts. I've been assuming it will start this Thursday as per usual, but with the Water Balloon Fight ending on Friday, it throws a hitch in guessing the typical schedule. Click to display Hopeully it won't be a delayed start for the GC. Normally I'd be all for a longer break between promos but right now I have a bunch of things I want to spend passes on and I'm trying to wait until the lottery starts so I can get the extra tickets for spending passes

New Divine:
Click to display Mahuika: and New... Click to display ...New 5th Element - Fire:
|
New Divine: Click to display Mahuika: Click to display Wow, it looks awesome! Do you know what its perk is?
|
Click to display Mahuika is one of the Māori horses. Mahuika has a tiki you must fill with mana. For that, you need to observe 3 turtle nests per day. And find out if there are any baby turtles: 1 x turtle = 5 x mana 2 x turtle = 20 x mana 3 x turtle = 80 x mana When the tiki contains 800 x mana, Mahuika will give you a gift: 1 x Fire element This horse cannot be sold. it's works like all Māori horses but the gift are change.

there is a new event:
Click to display

Translation: Click to display How to play? Participate in equestrian games to win prizes and receive goblets. How do I get spins? * Daily connection (7 per day) * Opening chests * Purchasing in the black market The different spaces The spaces you can encounter are: * Show: You can mark places for the trial (??) * Bonus: You advance several extra spaces * Penalty: You go back several spaces * Challenge: You are asked to complete a task or wait a certain period of time * Teleport: You can move to any other teleportation space * Chests: You are given a random prize The grand prize Win a goblet in each trial to win the Maori divine Mahuika. Golden horseshoes Receive a golden horseshoe for the contest trophy by winning 1, 2, 4, and 8 goblets. If you receive at least 2 golden horseshoes, you'll be entered into a lottery to win the divine Mahuika after the promo. My own notes: *The first type of space is unclear to me. Perhaps it means you can reveal what's there, if the board is initially hidden? That would certainly be a big change from the previous rides we've had. *I /believe/ the teleport space says any other one on the board, but I'm not 100% positive. It will be really cool if it's true!

Alright, I'm rather confused
|
Alright, I'm rather confused Let me know if I can help clarify anything, based on my understanding of the French version. Also, I noticed after I posted my translation... Click to display In the first section I wrote "equestrian games" and then after switched to "trial." Those are the same things. The French had "Equestrian games trials," which I found redundant and eliminated the word trial, thus messing the rest of my translation up. So sorry about that!

Must...get..Divine...

Your translation is very much appreciated but I don't get what the event is exactly
Click to display Did we ever have it before? Is this a luck wheel or something?

Your translation is very much appreciated but I don't get what the event is exactly Click to display Did we ever have it before? Is this a luck wheel or something? Click to display preprod only just opened, in all honesty I haven't a clue what is going on! It looks to be some mix of the board games with treasure chests thrown in. It's not translated yet and I have no clue how to actually work the board element despite stumbling through the tutorial. Maybe it's me, I'm sure all will become clear soon enough.
|
I get a different translation from google for the first bit:
Click to display 'Demonstration: vous permet de marquer des points pour l'epreuve' translated as: Demonstration: allows you to score points for the test Maybe if it's a board game and you have to get a certain number of spaces to get the points to get the goblet, then these points would be an alternative way to win the goblet? Or maybe it's extra spins? This might fit in with Woolymammoth's translation: If 'Des points' can also be translated as 'places' (after all, points in English can mean both points you win and points/places, as in points you stop at on a journey) then it being extra spins ('spaces' on the wheel) might make sense?

That's interesting 43492449
Click to display First off the slider bar at the top makes more sense of their being both moves and points you can win: I notice you get a goblet for 13 points, but 15 points will get you AP's too. Guessing what the various images on the board might mean: 4 black arrows = spin the wheel? Plus you get whatever the number is? Horses head: you get the points shown without spinning? Flagpole/star: I'm guessing one of these is the teleport point and the other is a challenge? Chests = chests! LOL
|
'there' not 'their' grrrrr
|
Click to display Ah wait... I was assuming that things like the bonus/teleport/chest ect were on the wheel you spin. But is that just giving moves? With the 'spaces you might encounter' being on the board? If so the spaces with arrows on would move you forward and back (snakes and ladders anyone?) and the Horses heads with black numbers would be points for the slider at the top maybe? I think I'm going to try and stop thinking about it and wait for more explanations now LOL

Click to display To me it looks like a hybrid between labyrinth, derby and treasure chests...

They had also posted a prize list and tutorial on the French server:
(They have noted that they do not have a pass estimate yet.) Images: Click to display Prize List: Tutorial (open image in new tab to view): Tutorial Translation: (I also included which part of the tutorial image is being translated in each section.) Click to display Top left: Welcome to the qualification round for the Tryon games! Top middle: Pass the qualification round to access 8 equestrian trials. Ow: Take your place, the round is starting. Top right: Ow: To move forward, spin the wheel. Middle left: This space is a teleportation point, through which you can freely get to any other teleportation point. But you first have to retrieve the points you are missing. Middle: Wow, that was impressive! You've landed on the Show space and you've earned points. And I think you understood the effects of the Bonus and Penalty spaces. Middle right: "Support" (note: an object you can use) changes the 3 spaces in front of you for the next move. Bottom left: Use "Support" to change the 3 spaces in front of your pawn to: a crystal chest, a +15 Show space, and a teleportation point. The effect lasts only for your next move. Bottom middle: Congratulations! What a performance! Victory is at your fingertips with this new goblet. Bottom right: Round finished. Congratulations! Extra image (reining): Reach the finish line on board 0 to unlock this discipline. Board size: 7x4 Points to win a goblet: 13 I agree with RowanGreen that... Click to display You'll be moving around the board earning points to get these goblets. It looks like each board has several prizes that can be earned at different point levels in addition to 1 goblet for each board. Also, it seems that if you aren't going for the divine, you don't have to earn the goblet at each board, just reach the finish line, so that could be a way to advance to upper level boards for better prizes.

Here is the information from our server. Not everything has been translated yet in the
Click to display event itself, so I'll post more info once I've got everything figured out. It's most similar to the magic ride event, but they've changed it up quite a bit. Main screen Prizes/Divine Click to display When the tiki contains 800 mana, Mahuika gives you a Fire Element I'll clean the images up a bit once I get things fully figured out
|
Click to display Ohh, another event with awesome prizes! I want to get my hands on the wild horse, really hope I won't have to go for the divine to be able to get that...
