Click to display I'm hoping to possibly save up passes to get Balios... but I have heard that it could take up to or more than 40 passes to get him depending on how the decorations are sold in packs  Either way I will see where I go and if I can't get him I may at least go for Mist (or if I'm lucky, both!)

Mist's skills aren't that great but if you breed her you get get Ocean and his skills are much better, probably somewhere in the 8,000 skill point level or so last time I checked. I think that Ocean's skills also go up occasionally too, so if that's true he'll always have a lot of skills compared to some horses. |
@tula, yeah that's why it would be nice to get them because Ocean has good enough skills to win rosettes
 I have Cloud and he has similar skills to Ocean, and his skills slowly increase with the rankings which is nice! Also I remember when Mist first came out and I wasn't able to get her, so it'd be cool to finally have her and ocean

 I was going to go for Balios, but I think I might just go for mist... I've gotten 13 passes saved so far... And am trying to sell more horses for passes...I also have 25 diamonds, but I'm working on getting more from my jem divines and wilds..  hope I have enough....Really hoping I can get Balios AND Mist.... And possibly Sagittarius..

Bumping up the December promo post. This should answer the Advent Calendar hints as well

It appears we can also send for more Drum horse trees and get more as well. Not sure if that will apply to the live server, but we'll see. You just click the forest you want that has the tree prize you want, then click an arrow to scroll through the trees in that forest. Also I remember when Mist first came out and I wasn't able to get her, so it'd be cool to finally have her and ocean I tried for Frost (mostly to get her foal, which I forget who that is now) and failed dramatically. I probably spent about 15-20 passes trying to get the right ornaments (I already had everything else. I was lucky that I had gotten the Frost Divine tree by luck when getting another tree.) Not doing that again. |
I'm only trying for Mist. I need her to get Ocean, then I can get Brook and finally finish the Water Divine set. I'll probably just do five small prize trees and then get the Mist tree, and that'll be it for the event. I mean if I have leftover decorations then sure, I'll aim for more prizes, but Mist is the only divine I'll be trying for.
Balios would be nice, but he'll be way too expensive.

Balios is the most expensive, but I think the Celtic divine could be gotten with less than 30 passes maybe? I'm not sure about the Wild and other two divines that are available as I didn't really look at what decorations they required.
My advice is send for and decorate 5 trees with the easiest to get decorations (since you need to decorate 5 to unlock the divine wood). Aside from decorations for those 5 trees save everything else like mad and only spend your passes on decoration packs when they come out on the weekends.
