Not everybody got to the 8th pinata to get the cloth, but I do agree the last piece should have come first. default smiley :)

I'm a little confused with this promo? Maybe I'm just weird, but I'm probably not going to go ham in on this comp. I'll just focus on getting the Book of Monsters, GAs, and the other limited edition prizes instead.

@Nalu

I totally wasn't playing for a while after a long haitus, so I need the wraps and the ear bonnet!! So repeats work for me! default smiley xd

Do events ever repeat?

Some, like the Great Challenge, do. But most of the time Howrse uses previous event ideas, but change the theme

Zaldia's going to be in the shop, as usual.
The Wanderer's Spirit is going to be the Legends Spirit (the ones we just had, with Gorgon Faun etc) as a first release.
Hela is going to be at level 6 of the Titan's challenge. default smiley :p

I wish they would release it where we could choose which category we want... I want the butterflies. default smiley :(

I thought they did at first... maybe not the coat but at least the category? I think it would make the Wanderer's Spirit a lot more popular.

FYI for anyone trying for Hela; I opened 14 TCs/2 staffs, had to fill what was left of my meter, and had a fragment range of 17-47 and an observed average of 33.8 fragments per attempt. I stopped several times along the way to collect the BMIs I'd gotten so I can't speak to how common reaching 6 is. I never got higher than 5 (once).

Personally, I think it all comes down to luck. I opened the Titan's challenge that came from Gorgon, but got cheated at level 5. This time, I thought that I would open one just for the fun of it, and I got Hela default smiley :o (Now I get why people like to open these things, they're addictive once you start!)

@ AdmYrrek: Breath deep. I know, someone used the 'L' word. But breath deep..... default smiley (a)

@ treehugger123: of course in a sense it's all down to luck, but luck can be quantified, which is what Adm was trying to do.... Maybe you are talking from a subjective point of view and Adm is talking from an objective point of view. Objectivity is probably more useful if you are trying to work out if you've got enough resources to guarantee a win, but doesn't guarantee what will happen to you personally if you just open one or two.

Very odd. I tried for Yokai and Hela once and received enough fragments to get both of them on one try. This usually doesn't happen to me. So, i usually stop after two opens.

Also FYI regarding the current PreProd:

Click to display
Most all of what I'm doing is blowing my 20,000 passes everyday (they refill every day) opening TCs for Lancelot on PreProd. Not only will this give a good collection of info on fragment range and observed average, but my main goal is to gather a body of data on the frequency each level is reached to get an idea of what the "jackpot" likelihood is. For example, of my current data (not yet complete and relatively small) 3% of attempts make it all the way to level 7, and 1% of attempts make it to the maximum of level 8. Things get fun on level 8, BTW.

My plan is to do this every day while preprod is open. Each day gives me a potential 100 new instances worth of TC data to record.

I also plan to do this on the next few preprods that include TCs to see if the frequency of each level is a constant or if it changes with each offering (as it seems to with the HOP jackpots). That could be valuable info and I don't think it yet exists in a quantified manner so far. At the very least, I've not seen anyone present data/results on it so far.

Sounds like a great plan, I’ve always wondered the actual frequency on TCs. can’t wait to see the results!

Re: @Asper’s screenshot

If this is actually upcoming and not just a glitch I’ll be so happy.

I’m surprised it says the CC contains Darumas. The last of the Darumas were rereleased in the CC this time last year, so they’ve already completed a cycle.
Hopefully it contains the last of the Alebrijes which are only available in the Brooch at the moment.

For anyone interested here’s the companions that haven’t been available in a CC yet.

Normals:
Ladybug

Specials:
Phoenix
Griffin
Blue/Green/Red/Purple Dragon

Alebrijes:
Armadilla
Armadillo
Cardenal
Cadenala
Delfin
Geca
Geco
Iguano
Mantarrayo
Mapacha
Mapache
Muercielaga
Puercoespin
Puercoespina

I’d also tentatively add the Weta and Orca to this list. Despite being a Divine gift the Grizzly was rereleased in a CC before.
Shika, who was a prize in a promo has been rereleased in the CC, but I don’t want to make a call on Namazu, Macaw, Ow, Hedgehog, Kyubiko, Axolotl, Skoll/Hati being in the CC in the near future.
The Ladybug will probably come out the same way the Bee did. In a chest full of other normal companions. So I’d say don’t expect it considering the content of the message screenshot.
