[Info] Companion coats Gallery

This topic is for the discussion of retired companion coats. Much like the topic for retired horse/uni/peggie/pony coats. The same rules apply.

If there is an issue, please send me a pm default smiley :)

* Although links and graphics are ok on this thread, they are not allowed normally on public forums

** No sales talk-this will mean an instant forum ban.

** No rants or complaints-about sales/prices/otherwise

* This is not the place to ask players to price your coats, or to ask others the worth of a coat.

* This is not a chat topic. A little chatting is ok, but sharing of TMI type personal info, posting rants about high sale prices, or posting you will pm someone...etc...needs to be taken to either pm or your own private ec forums.

* This is not the place to state your opinion on if someone has over payed, or if you feel someone was "gouged" for a coat.
Coats are worth what someone is willing to pay, and just because you feel it was too much, they obviously do not. There is NO reason for someone to be made to feel bad over their new special coat purchase. If you can't say something positive, then just don't say anything at all.

* If you can't afford to pay the prices of coats in sales, please do not use this thread to complain about the high prices, or that you feel they are priced unfairly.

Opened up a sale to look at an RC coat that I had been actually looking for for a while and it happened to have this rabbit coat! It's pretty common so I thought I had it but it turns out I didn't, so it was a pleasant surprise!

Congrats, that's always a pleasant surprise! What a cute bunny too!

I can't help but wonder if eventually we will have some new form of the HOG.default smiley (8)

I hope they do bring back hogs...hogs that you can retire. I feel sorry for everyone who spent tons of passes to buy a bee in the past, only to have it devalued now. Looks like the ladybug isn't safe either. That will probably be in the next one. Of course it is great news for those who couldn't get one before.

I've been wondering a lot about the possibility of HoGs coming back. Despite the new availability of all the companions I am pretty sad to see how devalued they've all become and I'd be sad to see that happen to HoGs too. I haven't bothered to collect any of the new companions save for a select few because it's simply too overwhelming for me (and honestly I'm not so enchanted by their appearances).

Taking a look at the sudden chaos of the GA and RC directories since the update makes me a little nervous too. To imagine that they'd make a directory like that for HoGs (because you'd think that they would, right?) when there are so many different types of animals would be a total nightmare, and I'm sure if they'd be able to add currently existing HoG coats to directories either if they decided to bring them back.

If the reintroduce the old hogs at this point I would be extremely upset. I've spent the last 7 or so years collecting them. It's one thing to bring back a plain companion. I am a little sour they brought back the bee but I'm also OK with it. But if they bring back old hogs I'd be extremely upset as I've put so much time, effort, passes and real money into collecting them. With that said, if they'd keep the retired hogs RETIRED and introduce new creations so it turns into the GA/RC idea then I'd be fine with it. But with >760 different old hog companions in my collection, I'd hate to see my low use copies devalued and made worthless if anybody could start putting the old hog creations on any horse.

I totally agree! I for sure dont want to see the old HoGs come back, but some brand new ones would be nice!

I actually hope that new HoGs wouldn't retire, at least for a good long while, since the normal companions dont become available too often, and when they do, itd be hard to get what companion and how many you need from the companion chest, the way it's set up. It would be very hard and expensive trying to get all the new HoGs you want in your collection, let alone before they retire. And that's assuming the new HoG is a readily available and affordable item.

Well, yeah, we wouldn't want the old HoGs to come back...none of use would want that since we a spent a fortune to get them, they would obviously be devalued. But new Hogs, yes please. I would hope they would just sell the horn of glory, because most of the horses I have companions for, already have a harmony pack on them, and it would be expensive to add another harmony pack just to get the hog.

I went for it and got another bee! Stopping now, cause I don't have enough passes for another round. I'm very pleased with the buckskin skiller I got the bee on.

If they brought back the HoG, I would think horses that already have harmony packs would be able to get them by default - pretty sure that is what happened when they first introduced them..? t'was a long time ago! default smiley xd

I have that one. It's a very tasty butterfly. At 33 uses it's worth an arm and a leg, and perhaps a spleen as well.
