July 5, 2021- I tweaked my comps. All but jumping are TB only. Show jumping remains the same.

I accept friend requests for events. No need to PM first.

***************

Hi, I'm an adult player who has returned to the game after a several year hiatus. I am a limited pass buyer.

Horses that are not in the auction or sales are not for sale.

I accept most friend requests; if your avatar is a moving image, I can't visit your page regularly. I do my best to return congratulations when I'm on. I'm fine with being friends simply to swap congratulations and contest items. I enjoy friends of all ages and nationalities. Players who have been inactive for 21 days will be dropped from my friends list for my organizational purposes. I will re-add you on request should you decide to come back to the game.

I may not be super-chatty in PMs as sometimes my health makes it quite challenging to chat (brain fog and bad vertigo are frequent symptoms- not that my vertigo ever goes away entirely). It's not necessarily anything you've said or done wrong if I am not able to respond quickly, my answers are a bit short, or I don't seem fully engaged in the conversation. "How are you?" can be a tricky question to answer when battling a chronic condition, even when someone you know well asks it. We know the question is taught as a conversation opener and often the question is asked in the spirit of being polite. Sometimes, it can be difficult to judge whether the question is being asked in such a context or if someone genuinely wants to know. Friends and family often become weary of hearing some version of "I'm having a bad day- again" but routinely lying to someone you know and trust feels wrong too. I find myself not engaging in conversation from time to time just to avoid answering that question the wrong way.

In real life, we have 1 dog, 2 cats, 2 English Angora Rabbits (1 is cross-bred w/ Jersey Wooly), Nigerian Dwarf goats, 1 Pygora goat, and many chickens (Orpingtons and Delawares are my favorites). We are currently horseless. I knit, crochet, and spin my own yarn using spindles- when my TBI stuff lets me have the coordination to do so.

A couple of folks have messaged me asking how I BLUP my thoroughbreds. I decided to post a basic outline of what I do (I suspect I may continue to tweak how I do it but you can get to 100 this way) on my equestrian center forum.

Notes:
January 3, 2020- Still busy with dog training. On New Year's Day, Piper completed her 3rd and 4th legs of C-WAGS Level 1 Scent Detective, earning her Level 1 championship title.

I've been remiss on updating. We lost a 7 1/2 year old rabbit in June and a 6 year old rabbit on the 18th.
April 6, 2019
Twins for Godiva (day 152). One of each.

Triplets for Contessa last night. Hoping Godiva goes this evening (day 149 of gestation)
Feb. 9, 2019
I am still around some and checking pretty much every day to at least keep things going in my EC, meadows, and workshops. I've been battling some health challenges and in December, we decided it was time to take the plunge when a Border Collie breeder we've been in contact with had a litter of puppies born in her kennel. So long as the weather holds, we will be picking up my puppy candidate, who will in time be trained to do tasks to help mitigate my disability, on Thursday, Feb. 14... we'll be learning a whole mess of other things and earning a few AKC titles as well. Anyhow, my focus has shifted a bit in getting geared up for this owner-trained service dog thing to start to "get real".
We're going with Piper for her name. jenniferandtonks on instagram if you want to see pics.

Oct. 18, 2018- We had to say good-bye to Adella, the mother of the doe we lost in August. We believe age-related complications, she was just shy of 7 years old.

Aug 13, 2018- Sadly our English Angora census is down to 9, we said good-bye to Bianca today.

Jan 31, 2018- ranked 2 in popularity. It took a few days to get there. One day, I clicked the top 1000 ranks in popularity and everyone on my friends list who had been on in the past 24 hrs.

Jan. 9, 2018- Oops! Forgot to click to add the trough and shower to a stall I added yesterday and the comfort rating of my EC dropped 6.41%, even though the new stall was bigger. Not sure if it's different if you have more than 6 stalls but definitely worth taking the time to make sure you have them ready when you're starting.

Dec. 2, 2017- I started an account under the same name (different avatar) on the US server too.
