On March 8th, 2018, you moved on to greener pastures. I love you and miss you so much. Rest in Peace and run free, Gold Rush.

Hi!

I am an adult player.

I accept friend requests!

I'm also found on the US server, Jaxxy Lupei.

I'm a barrel racer from New York. I've been barrel racing since 2009, and rode English for a year and a half prior to that.

I am a veterinary technician, hoping to work my way into an equine veterinary practice. I want to get certified in Equine massage therapy and star my own business. I also hope to join the US Army Reserve.

I hope to become a professional barrel racer, as well as a barrel horse trainer.

My first horse was an old Arabian gelding by the name of Akshyn's Magic, or Magic for short. I retired him back in the summer of 2016 and he's currently living on a 100+ acre property and surrounded by lush green grass.

My second horse was a Palomino Quarter Horse named Gold Rush, or Rush for short. I only had him for a year and a half until he had to be euthanized due to cancer.

My third and current horse is a Quarter Horse named Sage. I got her in September 2018 and she's currently in training to become my next barrel horse.

I joined Howrse back in 2009, had a few hiatuses here and there. I'm back and ready to play.

I breed QH's, Arabians, Mustangs, and Thoroughbreds.

Things I like:

Random facts:

I am a lefty.
My Western Zodiac is a Leo, my Chinese Zodiac is a monkey.
I am biracial.
I am not Christian nor Catholic. I'm a spiritual agnostic and I've dabbled in Wicca in the past.
Besides my horse, I have a Leopard Gecko named Domino, and two Betta fish.
I used to speak German! I want to relearn.

Are you a newer player looking for ways to earn money on Howrse? Have no fear, I have some solutions!

  1. Sell your droppings! Let your droppings accumulate and sell them once a week. Depending on how many horses you have, this will earn you a few hundred to a few thousand Equus in your reserve.
  2. Vote in the Creation Space! This happens once a month and lasts about a week. Warning: You can only vote when you've hit at least 30 days seniority. Otherwise, you can vote on up to 50 creations a day for 20 Equus each vote you cast, earning you 1000 total . Make sure it do it every day! ;)_v1828806360.png
  3. Congratulate Topaz! Topaz is a Divine Horse that can be congratulated up to 5 times a day for 50 Equus each (250 Equus). Here: Topaz 1 Topaz 2 Topaz 3 Topaz 4 Topaz 5
  4. Stroke a horse in the Safe Haven! You can do this once every 24 hours. This will either give you a handful of Equus, an Apple, or a Carrot.
  5. Get a Ploutos' Parchment. It will convert your horse's droppings into Equus, giving 40 Equus per one pound of dropping. Unfortunately, you cannot purchase this from the Black Market alone. You can spend 2 passes to get it with a Bonus Pack, or, they are given away in promos, found in the item exchange section, and can appear in "customized UFOs" on the pages of VIP players. To get the most out of this BM item, pair it up with the Philosopher's Stone. ^)_v1828806360.png

Some other ways:
  • Participate in EC missions. Since you've most likely boarded your horse at an Equestrian Center, you'd probably notice the "Missions" tab at the upper right hand corner. Participating in lessons, Skidding, Transporting iron, or collecting sand will allow you 30-50 Equus, as well as a small skill bonus for your horse.
  • Competitions! This one is a no brainer. Even if you're BLUPing or not, you will receive money no matter what place you get.
  • Breeding! This is one of the more complex parts of this game. When it comes to it, the more stars/skills your horse has, the better. If you have lower GP mares, breed them with high GP stallions to produce a foal with skills in the middle of both its parents. For example, if you were to breed a Foundation mare with a stallion that has 100 stars, you will most likely get a 50 starred foal or around that range. Rinse and repeat with any mares you get until you've acquired some highly skilled horses. Then you can be the one offering covers! Make sure your horses are fully BLUPPED and trained to get the most out of the foal's genetic potential!*
  • You can also breed unicorns the same way! Selling unicorns will fetch a higher price than normal horses, even some passes. To get a unicorn at a slightly cheaper price, try the auctions rather than direct sales, or, find a Unicorn breeder that you can order one from. Or, if you ask nicely enough, I can sell you one for a decent price. ;)_v1828806360.png Be warned, though, you can only breed unicorns at certain times a day, and there is only a 1 in 5 chance that you will produce one at all.

*Please do note that this is the most basic way of explaining breeding, skills, and genetic potential. For more help, visit the Blupping info and help, and the Training tips for young horses threads in the Events forum.
