Hello there! On Howrse, I am more the collector than the breeder - I purchase horses from sales on the spur of the moment.

Currently, I have 39 divines, 21 different breeds of (also non-bought) foundation horses and a gazillion uni rejects I don't bother to sell (I get attached within 5 minutes of owning something).

Indeed I am also a massive hoarder outside of horse.

Oh, me? You want to know about me? Hmm okay.
On Howrse, I tend to go by "Overo". I currently switch between living in London and Wales (That bit on the left attached to England, in case you don't know) where it is always horrendously windy, rainy and all kinds of miserable-but-not-snow weather. We have our Welsh ponies, though I'm not sure if that is a good enough redeeming quality.

I can't say much about myself (unfortunately deprived of an exciting life!) other than I am a genetic tech at a hospital :)
I am a friendly person, I will reply to most messages and I am always happy to help those who need it, as well as chat ^_^
I only bite if you bite.

(I go by howrse time so if I send you a reply at 4am howrse time...it does actually mean I'm on howrse at 4am. Slowly transitioning into an owl.)

There's this beautiful lemon and white mare that I completely adore and her name is Megan (Check out her pics on the left below!)

Aside from her color, she is very much one of those commonplace British Cobs - stocky, feathery legged and with a mane and tail thick enough to weave a rug.

She has no special 'talents' - ploughing through fences suits her better and she has her own ideas when it comes to flatwork but she is strong and as honest as they come.
Also, we climb a /lot of mountains together.
Literally. The farm backs about 20 acres of mountains.

Also, fun fact: Megan has been ridden by Joseph Morgan

^ there, who plays Klaus in The Vampire Diaries/The Originals/Lysander in Immortals/Mick Mabley in Doc Martin!

This was before going off to film Ben Hur (full of STUNNING horses). He has said that he may come back out to ride her again some day.

As an update, in August 2012, I saw Megan for the last time.
Sometimes, you have to decide between your schoolwork and the rest of your future, and something you love, want to keep but know you can't. Megs didn't deserve to be wasted, standing around in her stable all day. She's found a wonderful new person who I'm sure will care for her. She'll be happier there...plus she'll still have all the mountains in the world to trek over.
Just some...random pictures of things from my life.

She was considerably younger and prettier back then ;)

It's a sleepy, exhausted Megan.

Her patches magically disappear after a clip, hehe. Fluffy February.

3 months later: Welcome back patches (weird angle makes her look like she has a massive butt)...

On board Megan climbing mountains one winter...miserable puddles and too much mane.

I am an ex-graphic maker for an external site, but now I mostly code layouts and stuff.
If anybody would like help with their layout coding however, feel free to contact me.
I will not charge to code a layout but something I do like is a polite "thank you". Common courtesy - that is all (:
I will try to send codes within 2 days at the latest.

Unfortunately I no longer take layout/graphics requests.
I no longer have time to design layouts.
If you're curious about what they looked like though....
I guess you can stalk my UK howrse profile...

More stuff I like to do
I also like to draw when I can, although I admit my skills are limited due to lack of practice :P
This layout was the first thing I've drawn digitally in probably 6 months.
I created this with my trusty Trust (haha great pun) graphics tablet, and a mix of Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop.
At least I can safely say it is better than my Golden Apple coat, which is horrendous and has been retired at 151 uses.

I also have a coding tutorial in my forum if you fancy teaching yourself!
(Scroll down 2nd page)
I really do love my EC. It isn't absolutely fantastic, but averages at a good prestige of about 73%.

50 3*** boxes, a plentiful supply of carrots and mashes, ALL tack, 49e lessons, 230 acres of rotated meadows, 50 showers and 50 water troughs for only 95e per night (:
I may be able to reserve a box for you, but only if your horse meets the slowly-rising minimum skills requirement.

My creative ideas are not yours to take. As a graphics artist, you should have the creativity to think up your own designs.
