This was pretty fun. As I suspected, they made the game easier to get all the cards and win Manticore, which I did. I got in every day and got all the cards possible each day. Howrse was generous with the diamond cards this time and I am thankful that when I made a trade, I automatically got a card I didn't have already.

I agree with others that having a puzzle card named Golden Fleece was confusing to people, and if I hadn't been reading the messages in the forum, I might have fallen for it too when I chose what I wanted for my bronze jokers.

I did not spend passes to buy packs and I didn't participate in sales. I do have a suggestion for the next version of the cards event though...
What if, when we have gotten at least one of every card, we are then allowed to trade in our duplicates until we have two of every card in that level. Then, if we get all the cards for a second time, we are allowed to trade duplicates again. I hope this is understandable. If this has been the case, I probably would have spent passes to get certain gifts multiple times

Oh! I've also never completed a card event before and so that was fun to be able to accomplish for the first time.

Surprisingly easy to progress and very nice rewards. I lucked out and got loads of diamond cards just from the daily login. I like when the event cmpletion reward is a divine as with Manticore this time (e.g. as opposed to a special coat). Also quite like Hippocampus, keeping fingers crossed that it will show up in the AoO soon so I can finish collecting its fragments. Thanks!

Like the rewards! I didnt get all the cards I needed but I did get the hiking journal. It was alot of fun!

I love these events very much. I did find it a bit confusing to have cards with BMI names that weren’t prizes
Also I wish the prizes were a bit better? Like the last set to complete only wields you an Athena’s medal…. I feel like that should’ve been a prize card and the prize instead should’ve been like a titans challenge or a harmony pack. Something big Yk? The prizes you get from completing the card puzzles (?) aren’t very worth it save for the crown
Other than that I loved it! 9/10 stars!

I needed one more card to finish the event, some say they were showered in diamonds, well I was showered in bronze, hardly any gold either.
The only card I needed was a diamond, which meant I didn’t receive the divine. Pretty annoying
I was not going too spend passes on card packs in the hope of getting that one elusive diamond card, as I believe it would have been extremely frustrating. Some players saying that they only received bronze in card packs. Why would I want to try if there was no guarantee that I would get a diamond even after buying heaps of packs plus I only received 3 jokers the entire event, of course all were bronze.
The overall prize pool was very lacklustre.

I agree with others that aside from the Divine prize, the prize pool was pretty weak on this one. It wasn't possible to get any Black Market items in the prize cards aside from a few very low-tier silver ones, a luck item, and the Hestia's Gift as the one diamond prize which, while high-value, has been greatly diminished in worth from the old Diamond prize (A Divine). The rest of the items were just store items that could be bought for less than the cost of trading, companions which have been released in the previous two events, and tack.

Still, though, I liked that the event has been made easier to complete and that more people were able to get the Divine out of it, I just wish the prizes outside of the Divine hadn't been so devalued.

One of the most visually appealing events I've seen on Howrse. Good job!

Forgot to log in this morning and trade the one final card I need to get the Divine. Spent 285 passes to get the final cards I needed, sooooo 285 passes for a Divine that I forgot to log on and claim this morning, isn't bad at all

Feel like the Diamond cards where rather generous this time around. 7/10.

I like this game. I spent all my passes bought more passes and got more repeats. I was so close.
I am whining I guess. I don’t understand why I got so close. I thought I would eventually get the one card I needed.
I did get some nice prizes.

Almost didn't think I was going to get a Manticore, from all the repeat cards I kept getting.

I've always loved the card promotions. It's always been a promo where the prizes have been worth spending on. The newest edition of the cards is the exact opposite. The prizes aren't that exciting

Yes, I finished the puzzles and most of the prize cards ( I was missing a few prize cards). The prizes seemed to be poorly balanced. A victory pack as a gold card? Really? The only gold prize worth winning was the fleece. More useless companions? Ugh Manticore as a prize was ok. I got him without spending any passes and very little equus.


The new divine wasn't worth spending on. His perk is useless. I'm not wasting passes on a divine with such a horrible perk

This had to have been one of the worst of the card events. Usually I'm worried about picking up an auction or a direct sale, but this time I just didn't care. The prizes were awful. It made the whole thing just so unappealing. And then it seemed to have come down earlier than usual because I normally get one last shot at it in the morning before I go off to work, but for some reason it was already down at 5a, central time today. Thoroughly disappointing

For doing all the objectives daily.... i only managed to close one of the cards and didnt even get the only one on the list that was ok which was Achilis heel

for the rest they where pretty rubbish for the cards you needed to get

also i felt it lasted less days than other times...

Its not one of the worst events its fairly simple

But my complaint is the prizes keep getting worse in the events which makes it for me less interesting to waste my time doing the events..

would be nice for a nyx pack every now and then

Once you know how to do the card games, it’s a matter of logging in every day and being consistent on play time.

Can't believe I used passes and over 2000 while I'm at it only because I didn't realize how rigged it was. I only needed 3 more gold cards so I didn't think it would cost so much but it did. Lots of useless prizes. The only comfort was that I got over 800 fragments of the other divine horse whose name I can't remember, a couple Golden Fleeces and other prizes that are actually useful. Oh well. Learned my lesson for next time.

I feel like last time we had the cards event, you could trade a card every day even if you had all of the cards of that level. So that bit was disappointing. On the other hand, it was fairly easy to get the divine Manticore at the end, as I only had to buy 3 card packs. I was happy with my Diamond and Gold prizes, wish some of the silver were better. The bronze cards we pretty poor, but that is par for the course. The art was cool, but so much as last time. Overall a 4/5.

One of my favourites in a long time! My only negative really was a few cards having the same name as BMIs made it so you had to be careful with jokers, but that's about it. Otherwise thought it was very reasonable to complete, prizes were worth playing for, and involved gameplay without being too demanding. Loved it!

I loved the card design. One of the most gorgeous sets I think I've ever seen. I was pleased with my prizes. Prize cards seemed more generous than usual.

That said I didn't get diamond cards in the daily cards until the last few days. I get it. They're rare. But theoretically this is a free divine event. I literally would've barely gotten enough diamonds if I hadn't bought packs. I also didn't get 1 diamond per x number of packs like in past card events. Though howrse never advertised it I was hoping for it and am disappointed about it. For those who were counting on it more than for myself.

Overall though very happy with this event. Still one of my favorites

I loved how it was easy to get what we needed. I didn't come on every day, so I didn't have enough for Manticore, but I was able to purchase one pack and get all that I needed for Manticore

Liked that I got a few Hestas Gift. Did good.

Can't say that I liked it this time around or not as life events took the top spot over a game. What I did get I liked a lot... especially the Golden Fleece. I always like a game/event that gives companions and I got the Victory tack once again, so not bad. As fast as the Divine... not going to complain as it didn't catch my eye and I'm not taken with mer-horses as divines.

I liked it actually, the prices were also ok. That being said, it felt a little too easy to complete everything. I would've liked it a lot more, if it had been a bit more challenging

I dislike the fact that it was to finish on the 14th to my understanding and yet here we are on the 13th and the game is done. there should be a warning mail informing players of closing date and time and not on a 24 hour clock it is all too confusing and i always miss out on stuff because of this time difference.

I really liked the fact that I could finish in time to get the end prize divine without spending much, that's only happened twice to me. In my opinion, it should be like that for all events. The other prizes though were a bit lacking. Other than a Hestia and a few golden Fleece, the other prizes were just disappointing, especially since I ended up with multiples of two different pinata companions. Where are the better BMIs, such as Medusa's blood, Artemis arrow, etc? Why give out so many mapacha? Why not add companions such as a zebra, a giraffe, etc? To be completely honest, I'm quite tired of receiving pinata companions in events.
