What’s new in April? - 23rd April 2013Discover what new features the Howrse Team has in store for you for the month of April! We are convinced that you will enjoy the feature we are introducing this month! Some of them have been demanded quite often by the players from our communities.
The time display on your horse’s page:
It is now placed directly underneath your horse’s image and just next to his main gauges, so you can have your eyes on it while you work your horse! It is now also displayed in both military time (08:00) and with a circular gauge that shows you where you are in the day following depending on if it’s full or not. You can also see the time it is for a horse on his public profile!
The gifts from divine horses are listed in your office:
When a divine horse gives you a gift there now is an entry in your office page to tell you what you won and from which divine. This should allow you to have a better view of what you have won with the divines.
Long awaited and very often requested by our players, the Bewitched Pumpkin and Diamond Apple searches in the sales!
You’ve been asking us for this feature and it’s finally here! You can now search for horses specifically wearing one or both of these items!
The sale link has been added to the Animal trophies:
Missing an animal for the trophies? Fear not! Now you can use the corresponding sale option to find the ones you are missing!
Wind divine gift changes:
We are also removing one of the gifts in the series of 4 given by the Wind divine horses. This means the probability of getting a nice gift in increases as you'll have to generate less storms. For instance for with Caicias his gifts were: Hestia's Gift, a Diamond, FK horseshoes and a Ploutos' Parchment. Now it'll be: Hestia's Gift, a Diamond and a Ploutos' Parchment.
The Black Market inventory reorganised:
And last but not least a new section inside the Black Market inventory to display all the “privilege” items you have gathered in various contests. "Privileges", are items like the Vampire's Privilege, offered during the last Halloween cards that gave you a Medusa's Blood every first of the month for instance. You’ll also notice that the Black Market items are now grouped in retractable categories to make browsing them much simpler. Enjoy! The Howrse Team |

Howrse for your smartphone! - 23rd April 2013Check out the newly launched mobile version of Howrse to play on the go with your smartphone!
Today the Howrse team is proud to present you with the latest Owlient on the road innovation!
The Mobile Version of Howrse!
From now on, you can play Howrse on a dedicated mobile version made specially to fit your smartphone!
Simply use your smartphone’s browser to go connect to the game and the mobile version will be displayed automatically.
You don’t need to download a thing!
To avoid having to connect to your account every single time you go to Howrse, simply select the "remember me" option.
However, we recommend only using this feature if you are the sole person using your smartphone.
Please note that all the features of the game aren’t available yet on the mobile version.
When a feature isn’t available on the mobile version, you are prompted to return to the classic game version to use the feature.

Pass seeds are very rare, as there is only one producer on the whole planet and he's currently exhausted his field.
Pass seeds are only grown on large, fertile, 15-Acre meadows, with natural manure. It takes 30 days to grow, and always leads to a pass.
Don't wait to get yours as there is only a limited supply available!

February's New Features! - 12th February 2013Discover what's new on Howrse!
Today we are pleased to present some new features that have been added to Howrse!
Here is a list of a few of the changes that have been introduced:
- Horses go to sleep with a single click, like on Howrse Cup. - You can chose the option to train your horses in a single click, in your account settings. - Some more interface improvement are introduced to follow the last update to the horse's pages. - Forum activity is reviewed to be displayed as little stars.

An Heir for Ow! (Official Job Offer) - 23rd January 2013Ow is looking for a successor to take care of the Howrse community and make it thrive!
Ow has been with us for a fairly long time now and is considering new responsibilities and a change of career inside Owlient.
Fear not, Ow isn't going very far and will keep lurking around to make sure everyone is doing fine on Howrse even after retiring to another sphere of the Owlient company. (Yes, yes, I'll have my eyes on you.)
Thus we are actively looking for a dynamic and motivated successor for this position.

We Need your Talent! - 8th January 2013We are preparing a contest for Howrse and we would like our players to take part in its creation! We are preparing a contest for the end of January based on the theme of freedom for the horses.
To that effect we have decided that it would be a fun experience to ask our players to take part in the creation of this contest!
We would like you to use your graphic creation skills to propose the designs for this contest thanks to a special item called the Pearl Key.
It works in a similar fashion to the Black Pearl and you can consult the Pearl Key page to learn more about this item and on how to take part in the creation proposal for the contest.
On the 11th of January, you will have the possibility to propose your creation for the Pearl Key design contest in the same way as for the Creation Space.
To get the best illustrations and to spike the challenge up a little you will have to vote for the 20 best creations proposed by the players of all the Howrse versions!
If a player's is selected as a winner and his design used in the contest, he'll then earn 100 passes on his version!
Beware: You must read the rules and guidelines on the Pearl Key page to make sure your design fits the requirements.
Please note that it is mandatory to use the available template to draw your creation.
