The Vegetable Garden! - 17th June 2013Grow beautiful vegetables and win plenty of nice gifts! Until the 2013-07-04 12:00, grow vegetables to win plenty of nice gifts once you harvest them!
You receive seeds by completing actions throughout the game. You can then plant the seeds and nurture them until they are ripe and ready to be harvested.
At that point a gift chosen at random among the list of items the plant can produce is given to you once you've harvested the vegetables. You could even grow a pumpkin and get Skeiron the new Wind Divine horse!
You can complete missions that'll allow you to progress faster or access new vegetable patches all along this contest.
During this contest closely watch the inserts from the game or on the contest's page.
They will tell you what special offer linked to the Vegetable Garden Contest is currently available on the game.
You'll even have to possibility during some of these offers to earn the Automatic Sprinkler thanks to Horns of Plenty.
The Automatic Sprinkler waters the vegetable patch you place it on without requiring any intervention from your behalf. It also doesn't use the water stored in your water tank.

The Creation Space, your summer postcards! - 6th June 2013For the next edition of the Creation space we challenge creators to draw us postcards of the places they'd like to visit! For July's edition of the Creation Space, we are challenging Howrse creators to send us postcards of the places they have or they'd like to visit to be used as Helios Rays!
Creations will have to be submitted between the 1st and the 6th of July!
Show us where you live or what places in the world you would like to see, or even imaginary places where you'd fancy spending your holidays!
To make this challenge interesting and to spice things up a little, we will be offering some extra gifts for the best backgrounds sent to the Creation Space as Helios Rays for the month of July.
What you could win: If you are in the 5 best, you get the divine of your choice between Amethyst, Frost and Saturn. If you are in the following 10 best, you get a Horn of Plenty.

Howrse Prepaid Cards available at Sainsbury's! - 28th May 2013You can now buy Howrse prepaid cards directly in the Sainsbury's store closest to you! For players living in the United Kingdom only; today we are launching the possibility to use Howrse prepaid cards to buy passes!
You can buy your Howrse Cards in Sainsbury's stores all over the UK. A Howrse Card costs 10£ and once redeemed are worth 10 passes!
No online transactions required, simply enter the code found on the Howrse Card thanks to the pass page!
To find a Sainsbury's store close to where you are, you can use their web store locator.
Once you have bought your Howrse Cards simply go to the pass page on Howrse and select the options shown on the screen capture below:
Please note that the distribution of Howrse Cards across to country to reach a Sainsbury's store near you may take a bit of time. So it's normal if you don't find them straight away.

What’s new in April? - 23rd April 2013Discover what new features the Howrse Team has in store for you for the month of April! We are convinced that you will enjoy the feature we are introducing this month! Some of them have been demanded quite often by the players from our communities.
The time display on your horse’s page:
It is now placed directly underneath your horse’s image and just next to his main gauges, so you can have your eyes on it while you work your horse! It is now also displayed in both military time (08:00) and with a circular gauge that shows you where you are in the day following depending on if it’s full or not. You can also see the time it is for a horse on his public profile!
The gifts from divine horses are listed in your office:
When a divine horse gives you a gift there now is an entry in your office page to tell you what you won and from which divine. This should allow you to have a better view of what you have won with the divines.
Long awaited and very often requested by our players, the Bewitched Pumpkin and Diamond Apple searches in the sales!
You’ve been asking us for this feature and it’s finally here! You can now search for horses specifically wearing one or both of these items!

Missing an animal for the trophies? Fear not! Now you can use the corresponding sale option to find the ones you are missing!
Wind divine gift changes:
We are also removing one of the gifts in the series of 4 given by the Wind divine horses. This means the probability of getting a nice gift in increases as you'll have to generate less storms. For instance for with Caicias his gifts were: Hestia's Gift, a Diamond, FK horseshoes and a Ploutos' Parchment. Now it'll be: Hestia's Gift, a Diamond and a Ploutos' Parchment.
The Black Market inventory reorganised:
And last but not least a new section inside the Black Market inventory to display all the “privilege” items you have gathered in various contests. "Privileges", are items like the Vampire's Privilege, offered during the last Halloween cards that gave you a Medusa's Blood every first of the month for instance. Today the Howrse team is proud to present you with the latest Owlient on the road innovation!
The Mobile Version of Howrse!
From now on, you can play Howrse on a dedicated mobile version made specially to fit your smartphone!
Simply use your smartphone’s browser to go connect to the game and the mobile version will be displayed automatically.
You don’t need to download a thing!
To avoid having to connect to your account every single time you go to Howrse, simply select the "remember me" option.
However, we recommend only using this feature if you are the sole person using your smartphone.
Please note that all the features of the game aren’t available yet on the mobile version.
When a feature isn’t available on the mobile version, you are prompted to return to the classic game version to use the feature.

Pass seeds are very rare, as there is only one producer on the whole planet and he's currently exhausted his field.
Pass seeds are only grown on large, fertile, 15-Acre meadows, with natural manure. It takes 30 days to grow, and always leads to a pass.
Don't wait to get yours as there is only a limited supply available!
