Unlimited skills corrected. - 27 august 2010

Hello everyone,

As you may have noticed we have had a slight technical issue allowing unlimited growth of the jumping skill on horses.

This issue has been corrected and the horses affected will be reset to the expected value.

We are however unable to recreate skill transfers due to beach rides so there may be some horses that will lose a bit of skill if they had transfers done.

We apologise for the inconvenience.

We are also lowering some of the prices on the items  in the direct sales.

Auction system correction - 17 august 2010

Greetings Howrse players,
Following the discovery of a certain amount of abuses with the auction sale system, we are installing a new limitation on the owner compensation.
As you know, players that didn't sell a horse because of a bidding player that was out of money where compensated according to the size of the bid.
The size of the compensation being relative to the size of the bid allowed some players to place enormous bids multiple times and the owner was compensated accordingly, therefore making easy equus.
To correct this loophole in the game play system we are limiting the size of the compensation to a maximum of 1000 equus.
This is an honest compensation for owners and buyers and will limit any abuses.

Sand on the beach! - 3 august 2010

Until the 31st of August,

Collect shells and crustaceans during your actions on the game to gather a maximum of sand piles. Use this sand to buy gifts!

The gifts are on direct or auction sales. The exchange currency is the sand pile.

Try and get Gypse the rare Sand Horse, the new rides on the beach and plenty of other gifts!

On the beach the temperature is in the very warm area, so a giant water balloon fight is available to cool down : the UFOs are replaced by balloons filled with cool water to send to your friends.

Enhanced Support System - 28 july 2010

Starting today, we are migrating on a new support system. This tool should allow us to provide enhanced support concerning Howrse. It's simple to find as it's still in the same spot as the previous support system.

This tool will provide a more detailed FAQ and you can also search the references according to key words. These FAQs will increase in quantity and quality of references as time will go by.

You will also be able to submit us your issues with tickets as before.

Return of the achievements - 8 july 2010

We decided to reintroduce the achievements!

Already today we will put back the old achievements in the game. Unfortunately we still have technical problems with them. That is why we will soon replace them by a completely new achievement system.

All players will be set back to zero, can fulfill new tasks and gain new winnings. As soon as we have more details about the new system we will let you know.
